We would like to follow Malmesbury Victoria Football Club’s announcement and share the extremely sad news that the town’s local football legend Dave Picter has sadly passed away.
Words here would never do justice to how important Dave was to football within Malmesbury. Without the dedication, drive, vision and pure love for the game from Dave and a few others around him all those years ago there would not be the Malmesbury Youth Football Club we know, love and enjoy today.
The club, the thousands of children and hundreds of coaches that have been with us over those years will be forever grateful to him, and we will continue to deliver that vision to the town with him looking down and hopefully enjoying the sight of match days at the Red Bull Football Pitches.
