Unfortunately we have to share the incredibly sad news of the passing of Marion Picter.
Marion’s involvement in the creation and development of our club was incredibly important. It has created what we see today, a fantastic environment for local children to have fun, develop and thrive within a sport they love.
We couldn’t possibly put a number on how many children have been part of the Club over those years, but it is in the thousands.
That is something that both Marion and Dave’s family must be hugely proud of.
The amazing memories that have been created by their club – the town’s club – will never be forgotten by those involved over those years.
Marion, we thank you and will miss you.
What a stamp to put on the town and a legacy to leave behind. It is something pretty special.
